A Political Round Table

Posted on May 16, 2009 by Markus Stocker, Recommended 0 | Recommend

US presidential debates typically involve two people. A CNN Politics round table perhaps four or six or eight. The Swiss Federal Council round table involves seven people. Arena, generally a round table of four.

Recently, something occurred to me. People discussing politics always seem to have answers; does anyone have questions?

Knowledge is a measure of how many answers you have, intelligence is a measure of how many questions you have. (Author unknown, once quoted on the DDIS web page.)

Though, people at a political round table typically appear opinionated rather than knowledgeable, I think.
